Miria Calavein

Miria is an example of the colonist's ultimate goal to create a legion of aeirifawn super soldiers to protect them from their enemies and perhaps even wage war against them to protect alien kind from the scourge of the Neronite Empire. Miria is the forth generation of her lineage  and she has several life time's worth of experience in combat and living in the roughest of times and place which since childhood molded her into the strong individual she is today. The desperate colonists didn't have the time or the ability to train their new model aeirifawn so instead they pursued time travel on the side of genetic engineering. When she came of age Miria's great great grandmother was sent back into the mid 11:00's where she could learn how to survive and fight and attempt to mingle with other nonhumans in order to build up their numbers and create more genetic diversity. Miria  was born in the midst of the 1600's during the golden age of pirates and as such she learned from her mother about sailing and fighting in navel battles which would ultimately translate into her abilities as a space battle cruiser commander. Miria  Now captain's a ship known as the Solar Wind which she was given command of by her mother whom she proved to be a superior leader to and as such she also leads a small fleet of ships that for a time acted as the start of the colonist's vanguard against the Empire. This Vanguard over time grew and ultimately became a large fleet of ships capable of fighting a war.

Miria has had other encounters aside from Neronite fleets her most notable is her love/hate rivalry with the galactic pirate queen Marcelone whom as an rival she respects and at the same time fears. Little does she know though that her abilities have earned the queen's obsessive infatuation and even romantic interests, for Miria and her kind being romantically pursued by other females is not strange to them as they can Replicate with any species  and any gender.

(((((((((((((((((this is similar to the Asari from mass effect however, mechanically it's different as the Mirage mark 2 aeirifawns physically and biologically take Genetic material from their partners and hybridizes it with their own. it's important to note  that the process of pregnancy is also different because while in the mother's body the Developing child will not tolerate "weak genes" or unnecessary traits inherited from their second parent.

this means Genetics are in constant struggle with each other during development most are discarded and only a small percentage is kept though this is rare. In essence the offspring will seem ultimately pure  on the birth mothers side with only small traces of the second parent's genes making them a rapidly evolving species "compared to others anyway".))))))))))))))))))

Mono feminine gendering was deemed necessary by the colonists for two main reasons.

1st that it would control the population growth of these immortal beings and to avoid swarming in a foreign time line.

2nd gender was regarded as an obstacle in which a genetically strong mate was of the same gender, vital  opportunity for improved future generations would be lost as so adaption and extinction before "harvesting" becomes a greater concern.
